Other Way of Staging? (Part I)

One of the main questions people ask before doing this, ‘Does it really work?’  From my point of view, I strongly believe that even if a person does not have the funds to process staging of their house, they can still show their house as one of the neatest out there.  I say this because I have personal experience in this issue.

So you don’t have money to process this for your house, what do you do? Here’s a few of things you can do to make your house stand out more;

 Buy some tools and cleaning products from your nearby supply store, such as Wal-Mart, Meijer, and many other available stores.

Let’s start off from the living room.  If you can, maybe rent out a Carpet Steam Cleaner, which will take out all of the internal as well as the external dirt, and other nasty things that are stuck in the carpet.  You can also shampoo your carpet by renting out a carpet shampoo cleaner from any department store and make your carpet look nice, clean and for the good touch of smell, you can put in some carpet deodorant once the carpet is dry and leave it on for a few minutes.  After that, do a round of regular vacuuming and have a nice, clean and good smelling carpet.

 Next we have to look at the kitchen.  As you may already know, the kitchen is heaven for those who love food!  You can start off by cleaning the floor of the kitchen, depending on what kind of floor you have, plastic, rock, linoleum, and other types of floors, it will vary what kind(s) of material(s) you will need to process a thorough cleaning.

 Now, gather up a floor cleaner (depending on the type of floor you have).  Scrub and then rinse with water to make sure all dirt is off the floor.  If you have a fan on your ceiling in your kitchen, turn it on so that the floor can dry, if not, just go ahead and open up a window and leave it for 20-30 minutes.

 Next up is the countertop.  I know from experience that many women cut vegetables on the bare countertop and when you use a knife to cut everything, it will leave scratches and other stuff behind that will not look so good.  Lucky for this new generation, there are many cheap tools our there that can easily fix this.  You can buy new wax cover for your countertop, or maybe a hole fixer patch.  Contact your local department or specialty kitchen store for details on the best way to fix this.
